Eric Schlutz Elected President of Realtors Land Institute
After years of serving the Realtors Land Institute (RLI) Iowa Chapter #2, Eric Schlutz was sworn in as President on September 16, 2014. Schlutz, manager of the Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors Muscatine Office and Realtor serving the Muscatine area, is experienced in farm and land brokerage and has worked to help educate others in the industry. "Eric has been an expert in land brokerage transactions since he started in 2002," said Caroline Ruhl, President of Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors. "We are very proud and excited for him as he steps into this role. He's earned it." The institute is a membership organization created for land experts who are dedicated to building knowledge, relationships and business. Members specialize in land brokerage related to: farms and ranches, undeveloped tracts of land, transitional and development land, subdivision and wholesaling of lots and site selection and assemblage of land parcels. It is the only branch of the REALTOR family dedicated to improving the competence of its members in land brokerage. RLI's main focus is to bring together real estate professionals who are interested in the improvement of their professional proficiency in activity related to land.
